DOC015: The Look of Silence

  • The Park Tavern 158 Park Ln Macclesfield SK11 6UB (map)

The Look of Silence is the companion piece to Joshua Oppenheimer's extraordinary, BAFTA-winning The Act of Killing. The film follows Adi Rukun, whose brother was killed during the Anti-communist Purge of 1965/66, as he confronts those instrumental in the death of not only his brother, but a million others; unthinkable in a country where the killers remain in power.

Certificate: 15.

Tickets available from the bar in the hour prior to the film's screening. There will be an interval approximately half-way through.

You can stay up to date with all our screenings by liking Documentaries at The Park on Facebook.
